Rev. Andrew Gerike, Senior Pastor

A native of Columbia, Missouri (Go Tigers!), Pastor Gerike attended Concordia University Wisconsin ('09), and then Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He served his vicarage in Plymouth, Indiana. After graduating from the Seminary in 2014, he spent a year doing coursework towards a Master of Sacred Theology in historical theology. He successfully defended his thesis and graduated in 2019. He received his call into the Office of the Holy Ministry from Mount Calvary in 2015 and has served as pastor here since. He has been married to his wife, Shayla, since 2010 and they have been blessed with five children.

Rev. Jeff Duncan, Assistant Pastor

Pastor Duncan received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in June 2001 and served Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod parishes in Sullivan, MO and Wichita, KS. In 2017, he took Emeritus status, moved to Bellevue, NE, took secular work, and supported Melissa as she cared for her aging and ailing father in their home fulltime until his passing. In April, 2020 he accepted a part-time Assistant Pastor call to Mt. Calvary. Pastor Duncan joined the Lutherans for Life national staff in January 2020. Currently he serves as Assistant Director of Volunteer Relations. In this role he works with LFL Chapters, Life Teams, and State Federations across the U.S. Appointed to the National Board of Directors in 2017, he has over 30-years of volunteer activity in LFL chapters, his parishes, and as District Life Coordinator of the KS District LCMS. Rev. Duncan celebrates 40-plus years of marriage to his wife Melissa, being the father of two wonderful daughters, and now being ‘Papa D’ to two wonderful grandchildren.
