We welcome you to this brief look at Mt. Calvary Lutheran School. Mt. Calvary has been providing quality educational opportunities for students of all faiths in the Omaha area for over 75 years. Mt. Calvary serves children in their most formative years, kindergarten through eighth grade. We believe that our Lutheran school offers an excellent opportunity not only for the student’s academic development but also the development of the student as a whole person on moral, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical levels. We invite you to consider Mt. Calvary Lutheran School for your child’s educational needs.

Mt. Calvary Lutheran School provides an environment that fosters learning. Our school provides a warm and caring environment. In a small school such as Mt. Calvary, students receive more personal attention. Students at Mt. Calvary become part of an extended family, one where every student and teacher knows each other. At Mt. Calvary, teaching is a ministry as well as a profession. Our full-time teachers are fully certified in the state of Nebraska. In addition, the majority of our teachers have been Synodically trained at Lutheran Church –Missouri Synod colleges.

Choosing Mt. Calvary means parents have chosen to educate their children in the greatest way possible, integrating religious values into the total curriculum. The core curriculum includes reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, handwriting, literature, math, science, social studies and religion. Other programs offered include computer literacy, art, music, Spanish, physical education, speech, and drama. Mt. Calvary is an Approved School under the law of the State of Nebraska.

Non-Discrimination Policy
Mt. Calvary Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school administered programs

SCRIP CARDS

Scrip is a term that means "subsitute money". When you purchase scrip cards, you're purchasing prepaid cards that are used just like cash at local restaurants, retail stores, gas stations, movie theaters, etc. You use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, gas, home repair, and other everyday essentials. With every purchase you earn revenue for OUR school.

How many times a day do you Google? Five times, 10 times, 25 times? Imagine if every time you logged on and looked up the caloric content of the snack you just ate, or searched for an item at a local store, or checked your bank account....you just earned money for our school. With each search you launch on www.goodsearch.com about 1 cent goes to our school! We all know that every penny counts!
